MAXGARD® 400 MAXGARD® 400: UV Stabilizer (131-56-6) Benzophenone-1 :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® 400 is an effective light stabilizer for protecting plastics and coatings from damaging UV radiation. It is soluble in a wide range of solvents. It can be used in acrylics, polyesters, adhesives, nitrocellulose and other industrial coatings. MAXGARD® 1000 MAXGARD® 1000: UV Stabilizer (131-55-5) Benzophenone-2 :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® 1000 absorbs ultraviolet light up to 400 nm. The product is used primarily in the cosmetic industry. Concentrations typically are in the range of 0.1% to 0.3%. Plastics applications include plastic lenses and other optically clear services. MAXGARD® 500 MAXGARD® 500: UV Stabilizer (131-57-7) Benzophenone-3 :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® 500 is an active ultraviolet light absorber which is used to prevent discoloration caused by sunlight or fluorescent lighting. It conforms to FDA regulations for additives used in some food packaging applications. MAXGARD® 300 MAXGARD® 300: UV Stabilizer (131-54-4) Benzophenone-6 :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® 300 is an effective light stabilizer for protecting plastics and coatings from damaging UV radiation. It is effective in increasing the light fastness of dyes on both polyester window film and polyester fabrics. |

MAXGARD® 900 has a broad UV absorption curve which makes it very effective for protecting coatings and adhesives from damaging ultraviolet radiation. MAXGARD® 1800 is soluble at 5% in water thus finding application in surfactant-based cosmetics to protect product color when packed in clear containers and in clear gel products to protect the polymer that gives the gel its structure. MAXGARD® 1888 MAXGARD® 1888: UV Stabilizer (76656-36-5) Benzophenone-9 :: Lycus ltd. MAXGARD® 1888 is soluble at 5% in water thus finding application as a UV absorber in cosmetics, hair care products, textiles, and water-based paints and inks to protect product color, fragrance and to protect the polymer that gives gel its structure. MAXGARD® 1030 MAXGARD® 1030: UV Stabilizer (131-55-5 and 131-54-4) Benzophenone-11 :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® 1030 is our version of Benzophenone-11. It provides protection for acrylic, polyester, rubber, polyurethanes, stains and varnishes, nitrocellulose lacquers, fluorescent pigments, and photographic emulsions. |
MAXGARD® 700 MAXGARD® 700: UV Stabilizer (1843-05-6) Benzophenone-12 :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® 700 is an ultraviolet light stabilizer which provides compatibility with polymers (including PVC, PP, LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE and LDPE/EVA-films. It conforms to FDA regulations for additives in polyolefins used in some food packaging applications. MAXGARD® DPA-2 MAXGARD® DPA-2: UV Stabilizer (5232-99-5) Etocrylene :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® DPA-2 offers excellent ultraviolet protection. It contributes little or no color to the substrate. Application areas include PVV, polycarbonate, nitrocellulose lacquers, PVC, PA and ABS. It can also be used in PS, PUR and polyester gel-coats. MAXGARD® DPA-8 MAXGARD® DPA-8: UV Stabilizer (6197-30-4) Octocrylene :: Lycus Ltd. MAXGARD® DPA-8 is a 100% active liquid stabilizer that has low color and does not react with other additives. It is particularly suitable for the stabilization of flexible PVC (PVC-p and PVC plastisols). It can also be used in PUR, polyesters and PMMA. |
